Project management involves the process of breaking a project into tasks which are assigned to individuals or companies for completion.  These tasks represent a plan to complete your objective.  A project management system captures this plan and provides functions to assign and track tasks to completion.

Applications for a project management can range from personal objectives - such as "build my WEB site" - to more complex business objectives - such as "Construct a Mall".
